Game drives are designed to take you close to the
wildlife rich spots in the Maasai Mara. This gives you an opportunity
to view wild animals in their natural habitat as they go about their
daily activities. Game drives are done during the day or night time.
Night game drives are however not allowed in the reserve butcan be
arranged on request.
It is recommended that you use a local driver/guide s/he should be familiar with the area, able to give you lots of information about the animals and their habitat, and know where they can currently be found and how best to approach them. However, one can opt for a self-drive safari on condition that you are familiar with the rules and regulations of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
You can choose few packages from ONE
Night safari or
TWO Nights Safari or 3
Nights Safari with Accomodation at Mara Chui Camp
When making an inquiry for a place to stay in the Mara, please specify on the kind of game drive that you are interested in.

For that intimate encounter, take an exciting guided
walking safari. A qualified Masai naturalist will lead the way, bringing
you to a safe distance from animals. En route they explain the tracks,
markings, droppings and plant life which create the tableaux around
you, with insights into how nature's bounty provides food, medicine
and resources for tribal life. You may never be closer to nature,
at its most raw and unspoiled, than this. All you need is good walking
shoes and a sense of adventure
CULTURE VISIT:
To gain a rare insight into one of Africa best-known traditional cultures
we recommend a visit to a Masai Manyatta (village).
Our relationship with local tribal elders has built trust and an agreement
to allow us privileged access to authentic living history, perpetuated
in the villages which boarder our Resort. Each visit, takes around 2
hrs, opens the door on a unique way of life and set of traditions. A
Masai host gives you a tour of the Manyatta explaining the lifestyle
and what lies inside one of the huts. You also get a chance to buy their
hand made local crafts, in turn supporting their existence and lifestyle.
SUNDOWNER:
It's a classic moment, immortalized in films, fantasies and a million
great safari adventures: watching the sun set over the African bush.
There's simply nothing like it.
LECTURE & BUSHCRAFT CHALLENGE:
Our naturalist is available to give our guests lectures about the Maasai
Mara Game Reserve, different wildlife species and birds. Discover the
peaceful coexistence of the Maasai people with their habitat and the
wildlife.
The guests are also introduced to basic survival skills, local culture,
importance of conservation and local flora and fauna.
Activities included in the challenge are completing animal spotting
check list, learning to make fire without matches or a lighter, identifying
animal tracks, learning about animal bones and trying out bead-making
skills. Upon completing of the challenge, a Mara Chui Certificate is
